The Good FoundationTerms of use & medical disclaimer

Terms of use & medical disclaimer

The ground rules for this site and our programs — including what Good Health is, and what it is not. Please read the sections on medical use, liability, and disputes.

01Using this site

These terms apply when you use tgoodfoundation.com or any program of The Good Foundation, a family-funded initiative (“we”, “us”), from anywhere in the world. By using the site or a program, you agree to these terms and to our privacy notices. If you don't agree, please don't use them.

02Not medical advice

  • Nothing on this site, and nothing in Good Health or Good Forensics, is medical, legal, or other professional advice. We do not diagnose, treat, predict outcomes, or recommend treatment.
  • Good Health is not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or condition, and it has not been reviewed, approved, or cleared by any health regulator in any country.
  • Using this site or Good Health does not create a doctor–patient, therapist–client, or any other professional relationship. Good Health is not therapy, counseling, or emotional support.
  • Good Health helps families organize records and prepare questions for their clinicians. Always confirm anything that matters with a licensed clinician, and never delay, skip, or stop care because of something you read here.

03AI output can be wrong

  • Parts of our programs use artificial intelligence. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or wrong for your situation — even when it sounds confident.
  • Do not rely on output as your only source of truth, or as a substitute for professional advice.
  • You are responsible for evaluating output, and for every decision you make about your health or the health of anyone you care for.

04Emergencies

In an emergency, call your local emergency number now — 911 in the U.S. and Canada, 112 in the EU, 999 in the U.K. In a mental-health crisis, contact your local crisis line; in the U.S., call or text 988.

We are not an emergency or crisis service. Our email and forms are not monitored around the clock. When we offer to reach out to someone, we do it as a courtesy and cannot guarantee that we will, or when.

05What you share with us

  • You keep ownership of what you send us. You give us permission to use it only to run the program for you and to respond to you.
  • Only share information that is yours, or that you have the right to share — for example, as a parent, guardian, or caregiver with legal authority.
  • Don't send us information you are not comfortable having stored by our service providers.

06Research and writing

The Good Institute publishes research, observations, and opinions for general information. They reflect our view on the date published, may contain errors, and are not professional advice. When we find a mistake, we correct it.

If Good Edu / GoodAI Hand devices or chat ever contribute to Institute research, that only happens with clear notice and opt-in. Default: no warehouse of raw chats. Aggregates and eval notes may be published; individuals are not case studies without consent. Good Health information is never used for Institute research.

07Care packs and events

Good Heroes care packs and events are gifts, offered free and as is. Packs contain commercially packaged items — please check labels for allergens and expiry dates before use. You take part in any event at your own risk and are responsible for your own safety and belongings. Taking a pack or attending an event creates no obligation, either way. AI onboard sessions and any future GoodAI access for veterans are educational and general information only — not legal, benefits, medical, or career advice from a licensed professional.

08Good Watch

Good Watch describes assigned capacity for fire agencies — readiness and training instruments. It is not a CAD or RMS, not legal or safety certification, not medical advice, and not an AI system for use during active emergency operations. Departments keep their own data. Consequential decisions stay with human officers. The Foundation funds the first ninety days of an engagement — instruments, AI guidance, and implementation included; day 90 is expand, pause, or end on written gates. Starting an engagement creates no obligation either way.

09Good Detail

Good Detail describes assigned capacity for law-enforcement agencies — sealed command risk briefs, task-force packs, and a referral path to Good Forensics for stalking victims. It is not a CAD or RMS, not predictive policing, not facial recognition, not charging advice, not a tip portal that bypasses dispatch, and not an AI system for use during live calls or active incidents. Agencies keep their own data. Consequential decisions stay with human officers. The Foundation funds the first ninety days of an engagement — instruments, AI guidance, and implementation included; day 90 is expand, pause, or end on written gates. Starting an engagement creates no obligation either way.

10PS STREETS

PS STREETS describes a Palm Springs housing and dignity initiative of The Good Foundation. Pages about it may include proposals, cost estimates, and accounts of what people have told us. They are not a promise of housing, a shelter application, or a guarantee of city action. Reports of crime belong with law enforcement. If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number.

11Good Accord

Good Accord is a unilateral desk of The Good Foundation. It publishes public-corpus research and may offer sealed capacity packs related to tribal water rights, trust land, and related sovereignty topics — starting with causes the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians has already named in public. It is not a tribal program, not endorsed by any tribe, not speaking for any tribe, not legal advice, not lobbying or representation of any tribal government, and not a partnership claim. Settlement Watch and similar pages cite public sources and can be incomplete or wrong; they are not counsel. Continuity or cultural tools, if ever offered, require written tribal data-sovereignty terms. Sacred names and cultural knowledge are not Foundation brand assets.

12Good Nature

Good Nature describes the Foundation's land program. Status: planning — no land titled. It covers a planned wild-horse sanctuary (Good Mountain) and forest parcels to be held as bird sanctuaries. Pages may include acquisition aims, acreage targets, and operating plans. They are not a claim that land has been acquired, an offer to sell or buy land, a promise of animal placement, a veterinary service, or public access to any property. Visits, if ever offered, are at your own risk. Wild animals are unpredictable — keep distance and follow posted rules.

13Good Edu

Good Edu describes the Foundation's AI literacy program. Bullseye: lowest-income households, veterans, and elders. Status: doctrine — no public programming yet. Pages may include doctrine, kits, myth-desk plans, and GoodAI — an LLM-with-rails wrap (chat UI at /goodai; SMS webhook for a future Foundation number). They are not enrollment in Good Academy, not a school, not a certificate, not personalized advice, and not a guarantee that inference, a phone number, or a device is available on any given day. Educational content and GoodAI replies are general information only — not medical, legal, benefits, or crisis care. GoodAI is not a finished product and does not get a BrandSecond until the Foundation meets its published ship gates (floor, ceiling, wrap recipe, free beginner tier that is not a teaser). Planned Good Hand devices (G1 generation Wi‑Fi Android tablets — G1 Milspec for veterans first, then G1 for elders — and later phones locked to GoodAI) and Good Line numbers are Foundation gifts or tools when offered — as is, subject to fair-use caps; no promise of cellular service. Devices may be new or refurbished. G1 Milspec is a Foundation edition name — not a U.S. Department of Defense MIL-SPEC certification, not government-issued, and not VA-endorsed unless a written partnership says so. Cohort lead differs: inner-city / lowest-income programming may be educational sessions without a gifted device; veteran tablet pilots are separate. Any research use of Hand or GoodAI signals by The Good Institute requires clear on-device notice and opt-in; default is no raw chat warehouse; Good Health data is never used for Institute research.

14Good Forensics

  • Good Forensics is a free account-checkup program. It helps you understand signals in exports from accounts you are authorized to access. It is not legal advice, not a substitute for law enforcement or a licensed investigator, and not permission to access anyone else's accounts.
  • Only upload data you have the right to access. Findings can be incomplete or wrong. Do not rely on a readout as your only evidence in court or as a reason to confront someone when that would put you in danger.
  • If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number. In the U.S., the National Domestic Violence Hotline is 1-800-799-7233 (thehotline.org). For mental-health crisis, call or text 988.

15Who can use our programs

The site is for a general audience. Good Health, when available, is for adults who are 18 or the age of majority where they live, whichever is older. Children under 13 — or under the minimum age set by law where they live — should not send us personal information.

You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you where you live.

16Fair use

  • Don't try to break, overload, scrape at scale, or get unauthorized access to the site or its systems.
  • Don't submit someone else's health information without their permission or legal authority.
  • Don't impersonate anyone, or use our programs to harass, mislead, or harm others.
  • Don't use our programs for anything illegal, or to make decisions about other people's eligibility for jobs, credit, insurance, or housing.

We may suspend or end anyone's access if they break these terms or put others at risk.

17Our work

Site content, design, and marks — including The Good Foundation, The Good Institute, Good Health, Good Forensics, Good Heroes, Good Watch, Good Detail, PS STREETS, Good Nature, Good Edu, and Good Academy — belong to The Good Foundation. You are welcome to quote short excerpts with credit and a link.

Links to other sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.

18No warranties

The site and our programs are provided free, “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not promise that any output is correct, complete, or safe to rely on.

19Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, The Good Foundation, its family members, directors, volunteers, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, health outcome, or decision made using the site or our programs — even if we were told such damage was possible.

Because our programs are free, our total liability for all claims relating to the site or our programs is limited to US$100.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where the law forbids excluding it.

20If you misuse the site

To the extent the law allows, if someone brings a claim against us because you broke these terms or misused our programs, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs, including legal fees.

21Resolving disputes

Talk to us first. Email tg@taylorgood.com with a description of the problem, and we will try in good faith to resolve it within 60 days.

If we can't, any dispute will be resolved by binding individual arbitration under the Consumer Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association, seated in Wyoming — not in court, and not as a class, collective, or representative action. Either side may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court.

You can opt out of arbitration by emailing tg@taylorgood.com within 30 days of first using the site or a program.

If you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another country whose consumer laws do not allow these terms, this section does not take away those rights — you may bring a claim in the courts where you live.

22Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules — except where the law of the country you live in requires otherwise.

23The rest

  • If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
  • If we don't enforce a term right away, we haven't waived it.
  • These terms and our privacy notices are the whole agreement between you and us about the site and our programs.
  • We may update these terms. The effective date above will change, and for significant changes we will give notice on the site before they take effect. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new terms.
